Monthly Update (Mostly Bugfixes)


Hey guys, today’s update will mostly include bugfixes. It also includes two new Harem Quests, but yeah there won’t be any other new content this month. Mainly because I started working part-time at my local grocery store this month, but also because I’ve been working on two new villages that are each quite big and I need time to fill them with stuff. I’m also not going to lie, like mentioned at the beginning there are quite a few bugs that have been reported and that I’ve hopefully fixed. Some are small, but some make quests don’t work as intended which sucks pretty much. I honestly don’t know what to say, besides saying sorry and telling you how it might happen in the creation process. When I work on the game I might switch between different locations while working on them simultaneously. At the same time more often than not I change or add something after I’ve tested the given scenario which might be the reason for most bugs xD. Anyway, I once again really appreciate all the feedback no matter how small and I can’t tell you how sorry I am if the bugs impact your opinion of my game negatively. I really want to take care of all bugs, even if it’s for example just a picture that is being displayed for the wrong character. By the way many of the player reported bugfixes came from the same person and that is why I would like to thank this person in particular, but also any bigger future contributors by either putting them in a special section in the credits or naming npcs after them which is normally reserved as a tier reward. If anyone wants to be featured like this, please don’t hesitate to indicate the name you would like in the game and how it should be used in the now updated google docs. Once again if you happen to have some disposable income that you want to invest in the game, it’s always welcome and appreciated too (Patreon, Subscribestar…).

I have a non-bug related question in regards to the objectives for Invictux the Self-Sustaining Castle.

There is a selection of multiple characters even though most of them don’t exist yet. Doses this mean there will be mutually-exclusive recruits in the future? (I hope not) 

Otherwise it would be more convenient to recruit them directly once the building is ready without having to select the character at the building first.

I definitely don't want to make them mutually-exclusive. I just thought it would be nice to have more than one option (even though I know there is only 1 for each building right now xD). Initially I thought to make it so you can recruit different people at your own pace and I kinda liked having an extra condition to using the buildings, but I guess you have point. I might change a few things around, so that once you paid for the building you can simply recruit the related characters. As a matter of fact though I'm currently creating two ways to enter a new area and one of them would involve a new character for the tavern. Either way thanks for the feedback though xD.

Making bug reports is something I normally don't bother with but I want to see this game succeed because the characterization is good and things like an upgradable home base and plethora of optional recruitable characters are very much up my alley. Glad to hear my reports have been helpful.

Ohh they definitely have been very helpful. I honestly can't thank you enough. Also, like I mentioned before in the post if you want your name in the credits or something I would gladly put it in there. I feel like it's the least I can do for someone who's helping out/contributing this much.
